My family, the Kyeremehs

 I am Dr.Joel Kyeremeh snr. I am a board certified 30 year old  clinical optometrists,a Christian,a politician and an entrepreneur. I am married to my beautiful wife Mrs .Rebecca kyeremeh and blessed with with a smart and handsome baby boy named Joel Kyeremeh jnr.

I am an eye specialist ( contact lens specialist) and my wife is a police officer (Detective) specialized at the criminal investigation department. 

EDUCATION:

My early basic education started from humble beginnings at brong ahafo region seikwa, Kobre international school from creche to basic 2, then moved by my parents necessity to get me a better education to  berekum, All for christ international school to continue from Basic 3 to the junior high school as a resident boarding house student because of my parents resident in seikwa. I completed my basic education certificate exammination with distinction and got the opportunity to read science in one of the prestigious Boys secondary schools in Kumasi - Ashanti region .i was the president for the science brilliant squadrons on campus and chalked the first position in many national science quiz competitions.

We made tenacious strides during our 4 year secondary education at osei tutu senior high school with very good laurels and memories.These strides shaped my views about how i see the world today. With destinction i graduated 2012 and got direct admission the same year due to my smart awaiting applications to the university to pursue A 7 year Doctorate in optometry at the kwame Nkrumah university of science and Technology,Ghana .

PROFFESSIONAL LIFE

      A journey of thousand miles begins with a step , so fast forward we made strides and resiliently studied for 7 years and graduated with honors in the year 2018, made our by Gods grace into clinical housemanship (ghana national service) at the sunyani regional hospital -Brong Ahafo Region for a year ended August 2019.howerever, i met my beautiful wife Rebecca Kyeremeh during my national service at the BA hospital . We sat for our clinical board certification exam in the year march 2020 and passed with destinction. We waited on Ghana governments permanent employment by doing locums eye screening outreach  for all the nursing and teacher training colleges in Ghana in all the 10 regions in Ghana .I exponentially mastered my craft and met a myriad of people during this period coupled with a few private clinics locums at Ghana red cross eye hospital(sunyani),Best vision eye clinics(sunyani),magazine clinic(kumasi).


My travel around Ghana and my Christian values redefined the choice and tribe(north) to marry from after seeing it all 

MARRIAGE AND FAMILY LIFE

The ending of the year 2020 in december 19th gave way for me to legally and traditionally marry the woman i love dearly,the  beautiful,humble Rebecca at Koforidua E/R,Ghana .

Our white wedding was just simple and classy.

A new beginning for two ,a new chapter for a family and life ahead to explore and live happily ever after until death do us apart.

We build our home together from 19 December 2020 and God blessed us with a boucing ba ay boy in 23 march 2022 named joel Kyeremeh Jnr.

The birth of my baby boy paved way for a new beginning in my professional life; where i was permanently employed as a medical officer in Ghana health service (kenyasi government hospital -Ahafo) in the same month of my sons birth.

We lived ,we loved and learnt happily ever after !

WATERING EYE Tears are secreted by the main and accessory lacrimal glands and pass laterally accross the ocular surface then evacuated through the canaliculus into the lacrimal sac,nasolacrimal duct and finally into the nose through the valve of Hasner. A variable amount of the tear film is lost through evaporation depending on the ambient temperature,humidity,and the rate of blinks per minute. World Sight Day 2019 Vision first Vision is the most dorminant of the five senses . The wealth of a healthy eye and a 20/20 visual acuity cannot be underestimated.This is why the global society is built on our ability to see. The onus lies on Myself (Dr. Joel Kyeremeh, OD) and other medical professionals to do our bit in realization of the universal eye health system in every corner of the world we find ourselves. World sight Day is an annual day of awareness to focus on preventable blindness and vision impairments . The global human population is estimated 7.3 billion people in world . The demographic and lifestyle changes in human population now as compared to eons back has predisposed humans to myriad of unavailable health problems as the age. Everyone, if they are lucky to live long enough will experience at least one eye condition in their lifetime that require appropriate care . This eye care must be administered by eye professionals whose distribution are in pausity.
